A state-wide partnership to further environmental education in Illinois.
What is IEEAC?
The Illinois Environmental Education Advancement Consortium (IEEAC) is made up of professionals, agencies and individuals working to build Environmental Education (EE) capacity by supporting and strengthening a comprehensive EE program for Illinois. Members come from many different institutions and organizations throughout Illinois. IEEAC began as part of the Environmental Education and Training Partnership (EETAP), a national partnership funded by the US EPA. For more than eight years, IEEAC has worked closely with the National Environmental Education Advancement Project (NEEAP) based at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. IEEAC has also partnered with the Environmental Education Association of Illinois (EEAI) on several significant projects.
